Laurice Temple

Authenticity. Value-Alignment. Wellbeing. Courage. These are some of the words people use when describing Laurice. Laurice is proud to have worked in the construction and infrastructure industry most of her career and is now a non-executive board director and founder of her business consultancy, Ripple Affect Institute (RAI).
Ripple Affect Institute incorporates “Wellbeing” and positive psychology as a foundation in assisting their clients in co-creating solutions to complex problems in order to flourish. The focus is on ‘positive societal shifts with our clients and community members to further develop their aspirations into purpose-driven, value-aligned and driving more sustainable outcomes that have identifiable and measurable impacts.’
Laurice has a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, is a Gateway Reviewer, an accredited Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) Project Manager, has a Certificate IV in Front line Project Management and is a graduate of the Australian Institute Company Directors course (GAICD). She regards Wellbeing as a crucial part of the cultural transformation that is essential to assist organisations grow their prosperity and have their employees thrive.

Sian Mertens
Culture, leadership and wellbeing facilitator
Leaning into every conversation
Siân is a university educated coaching psychologist with twenty years experience in Human Resources and Organisational Development roles across the industrial, manufacturing and FMCG sectors including businesses such as Kimberly-Clark and Hasbro. She has built high performance cultures, driven employee engagement, led organisational restructuring, and designed and facilitated talent and leadership development programs.
Siân is an experienced coach and facilitator with a passion for making development matter by harnessing the untapped potential in those she works with. Her focus is on developing leaders to be personally more effective and their best selves. Last year alone, Siân coached over 90 leaders across a variety of industries and functions to support their growth.
Siân has a Master of Science in Coaching Psychology from Sydney University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources from Deakin University, and a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Psychology from UNSW.
Siân is passionate about the application of evidence-based positive psychology coaching methods and frameworks which will often involve noticing and shifting mindset, challenging assumptions, broadening perspectives, and assisting to provide a deeper understanding of the systems we operate in.

Nicole Jordan
Wellbeing and Mental Health Facilitator
Working collaboratively with teams
Nicole is an experienced trainer with a career spanning over 25 years. Her expertise extends to working with not for profits, corporates, and small businesses. Nicole has a wealth of knowledge to offer your organization.
Nicole holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement), a Diploma in Positive Psychology and Wellbeing and is a Principal Master Mental Health First Aid Instructor.
Nicole is passionate about sharing the evidence-based tools of positive psychology research to boost individual and collective wellbeing. Supporting organisations to keep their staff engaged, satisfied at work and performing well is her key aim. Improving the psychological safety of work environments, and training staff in not just the technical skills of the job, but skills to build wellbeing at the individual, team and organization level is what she loves.
Nicole’s ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders is backed up with being able to tune in to client’s needs for their unique setting. This ensures a tailor-made approach to enhance the delivery and potential outcomes of any given brief.
As a mother or four teenagers and a fur baby, Nicole understands the pressures of balancing work and family, the challenges of presenting as ‘fit for work’ when there are struggles in life and the importance of self-care and optimising wellbeing.

Kylie McLerie

Educating and connecting people
Kylie McLerie is inherently a teacher and has held positions in educational leadership at school and regional levels for the past 16 years. She is a Wellbeing Lab Licensee and Facilitator across MMCQ Labs.
Kylie is an inspiring, experienced and highly motivated facilitator who has a genuine passion for engaging groups and teams in critical and creative thinking. She has been told that she can draw any group of people together and get those collective thought process happening in a supportive and practical way. With a background in education, educational leadership, leadership coaching and, as a cross sectorial business consultant, she understands people and the importance of human agency in all organisations.
Kylie is all about connection and sees all relationships as genuine two way learning opportunities. She harnesses the collective wisdoms of people, teams and organisations and uses this data to plan innovative ways forward. She has worked across sectors to champion employee and organisational wellbeing and links this as an imperative for productive workplace cultures. She leads with authenticity and strengths based leadership and building workplace cultures where people feel valued, safe and places they want to be a part of.
Kylie’s clients span a diverse range of industries and include organisations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, as well as coaching clients and workshop participants from kindergarten students to Executive Directors, CEO’s and Boards .

Michael Bartura
Director of Program Support
Bringing Mindfulness to Leadership
Michael has been involved in lifestyle education, health & wellness promotion, training and organisational development since the mid-Eighties. With close to 20 years of management experience in four continents, he brings to the table a well-refined cross-cultural mentoring capacity and a managerial acumen amassed in both not-for-profit and business contexts. He has extensive experience in Mindfulness practices and delivers insightful and engaging training seminars and group-work through nondenominational science-based methodologies.
In earlier years, Michael worked as a therapist and a trainer in clinics and centers in Australia, UK, the US and Canada. Later, he undertook senior managerial roles in international businesses and charities. In his last full-time role, as a manager for the East West Learning Centre in Singapore, he focused on designing platforms to deliver an integrated Mind-Body approach to leadership education.
Last year he oversaw the TeamUp program – a unique coaching journey designed to counter stress and build resilience in charities. In Australia, he runs his own coaching practice based on Mindfulness-based Leadership and Positive Neuroplasticity to work with individuals, organisations and Startups. He is also member of the core faculty of the School of Life in Melbourne.
Besides a variety of certificates and diplomas in holistic therapies, Michael holds a Master’s degree in Management from Macquarie Graduate School of Management. He is a passionate and skillful coach and has been and associate of the Asian Leadership Institute for close to 20 years.
When Michael isn’t working, he enjoys spending as much time as possible with his two
amazingly resilient daughters and learning more about the world through their eyes.
